At Apex Trials, we are conducting a Knee Osteoarthritis Pain Study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational product in adults with obesity or overweight and knee osteoarthritis pain.

📌 Who Can Participate?
👤 Adults aged 18+
⚖️ BMI of 27kg/m² or higher
📉 Have not lost or gained 5% or more of your body weight in the last 3 months
🥗 Have tried, at some point, to lose weight by changing what you eat, but it did not work
🦵 Have a diagnosis of osteoarthritis of the knee and pain in the knee
💉 Are comfortable with weekly subcutaneous injections for 64 weeks
📅 Are available for 16 visits to our clinic (located in Guelph, ON) and 6 remote phone calls over a 70-week period
🤝Compensating up to $5,580 for participation

Participant requirements:
- Healthy, 18-60 years of age, with a BMI between 18.5-29.9 kg/m2 (minimum body weight of 60kg)
- Comfortable with consuming high-fat, high-protein meals (that contain dairy, pork, and peanuts)
- Non-smoker (including ni****ne va**ng) or ex-smoker for >3 months
- Comfortable with multiple blood draws
- Willing to comply with study restrictions (e.g., avoiding certain products)
