A beautiful refresh for our lovely patient! This patient presented with concerns related to periorbital aging, including excess upper eyelid skin and volume loss in the lower eyelids, along with overall skin texture and photodamage.

✨ At 6 months post-op, we’re seeing:

When thinking about elective cosmetic facial surgery, it is important to come to your consult informed and with good questions. The internet, social media and AI can be great tools or they can be a great source of confusion when you are researching surgery.

There are many different techniques that lead to similar outcomes. Most advancements in cosmetic surgery in the past ten years have been to minimize recovery time and complications and to improve the longevity of results. Nuanced details like type of suture, fixation techniques, or branded lifting techniques get confusing.

The most important factors you should focus on when selecting a surgeon are their before and after photos (do you like their aesthetic and their results?), their experience in the surgery you are interested in, their personality compatibility in consultation (you are entering into a year long relationship), and their after care and complication management plan.

At the end of the day you need to trust your surgeon to do what is right in your specific context with your specific anatomy and your specific goals. Let your surgeon worry about the details of how to get you there and do your part by following all your postoperative instructions.

This patient came to us with significant structural damage to the nose caused by pressure necrosis from a feeding tube as an infant, which led to destruction of both cartilage and skin. These cases are complex and require careful planning, realistic goal-setting, and a reconstructive mindset.

Xanthelasma are cholesterol-rich deposits that appear as yellowish plaques around the eyes. While they are benign, many patients seek treatment due to cosmetic concerns or changes in eyelid contour.

At 6 months post-op, we’re seeing:
• Complete removal of xanthelasma deposits
• Smooth, natural eyelid contours
