Hey all, we are seeing SOOOO many fleas on our patients in the valley these days, so just wanted to send out a heads up/reminder to stop in for flea prevention, it's a jungle out there! We have a variety of products for dogs and cats available. Call or email for more info :)

A reminder to watch out for spear grass on your pets in the next couple of weeks! Also known as Mountain Sweet Cicily. These little seeds have barbs on them and will burrow through skin, or can get stuck in paws, eyes, or ears and cause a LOT of trouble. Pull them off your pet and get rid of them if you find them!

Well, it's been another busy and fun spring so far - lots of cute baby animals in the valley these days!!
Just wanted to let everyone know, the vet clinic will be closed for summer breaks from June 29th-July 6th and July 27th-August 4th. Please let us know a couple of weeks in advance if you will need food or medication ordered in around these times.
And a gentle reminder - please let my staff & I rest and recharge on our off time, and contact one of the vet clinics in Williams Lake in case of after hours emergencies.

Someone planted a political campaign sign on the vet clinic lawn yesterday, without our knowledge or permission. I have taken it down but I feel I should clarify - the vet clinic is intentionally non-partisan, and we are here to help animals regardless of their political affiliation!!!

We've got 40, yes 40!!! cupcakes at the vet clinic this afternoon - come on by for a treat before my kids eat them all!

Our staff had some good laughs today with this sweet girl Lily, the biggest dog we've seen!!! Weighing in at over 70 kg (155 lbs) and just as sweet as pie, she was, luckily, very cooperative for her procedures :)

Well aren't we lucky, to share this planet with such beautiful creatures??!! Nikita brought smiles to our faces last week with her sweet and silly personality, and was a total rock star for her vaccinations! And as you can see, she is extremely photogenic to boot!! 😍

The clinic will be closed for a holiday break from Dec 18th-Jan 6th, for family time, rest, and spending time with our pets of course!! Please contact us by next Monday, Dec. 9th if needing food orders or prescription refills prior to the new year.

A gentle reminder that if you have an urgent veterinary question over the holidays, please direct this to one of the on-call veterinary clinics in Williams Lake, and refrain from contacting our employees or family members outside of clinic hours.

Thank you so much for your business in 2024, it has been a privilege as always to serve the clients and animals we have gotten to know. Wishing our clients and tour patients very happy holidays, and looking forward to another great year in 2025 here in beautiful Bella Coola!!

Hi everyone, our phone line at the vet clinic is still out of service (will give a busy signal) if you are calling from a cell phone. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, and again hoping Telus can resolve this issue ASAP!!
