Sunshine Coast Meditation Center BC Canada This temple welcomes those wishing to practice meditation, study Bodhidharma, and practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

We’ve just completed our final retreat of the year — and it was truly unforgettable.
Tai Chi in the morning mist, silent meditation under the trees, mindful hiking through the forest… and even a surprise whale show by the ocean!

Moments like these remind us how nature always meets our practice with grace.
Thank you to everyone who joined and shared this journey of stillness, movement, and connection.

Can I meditate with knee/leg discomfort?

可以。重點是穩與鬆:坐墊加高、改椅坐,雙腳踩地、脊背延展。疼痛超過 3/10 就調整姿勢。
Yes. Prioritize stable + soft: raise your cushion or use a chair, feet grounded, spine long. If pain > 3/10, adjust.

先短、再穩:3–5 分鐘起,專注「吸、吐」各數到 4。身體不安時,先做 1–2 分鐘覺察步行或溫和伸展。
Start short—3–5 minutes. Count inhale/exhale to four. If restless, do 1–2 minutes of mindful walking or gentle stretches first.
