Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. It’s a day to reflect on the learning and unlearning we are doing individually and as a community, and a day to look forward to the many actions we must continue to take to contribute to the reconciliation process.

We invite you to join us in taking the time on this day — and every day — to acknowledge and better understand the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of the residential school system. As a non-Indigenous organization and settlers on this land, we are committed to listening and learning about the truth. This recognition and commemoration is a vital component of the reconciliation process.

🚌 School readiness screening is coming up on August 21st from 2-6pm at Allied Therapy! 📚Join us for an hour session where your child will be screened by a physiotherapist, speech language pathologist, and occupational therapist and get recommendations to set your kiddo up for success at school. ✏️ Your child will also receive a hearing test with instant results!
This event is for children entering primary or pre-primary and is by donation in support of the Parker Street Food bank back to school program. 📝 Sign up on eventbrite at the link in our bio!
