As part of the Vaccine Co-Pay Study, you and/or your child may be eligible to receive the Nasal Spray Flu vaccine at no cost for children aged 2 to 17. The vaccine administration fee will also be fully covered.

❗SHINGLES/RSV/INFLUENZA VACCINATION OPPORTUNITY❗

As part of the Vaccine Co-Pay Study, you may be eligible for a reduced cost and covered Administrative Service Fee on select recommended but unfunded vaccines.

This study is exploring how a co-payment model, where the cost of these vaccines is shared between the individual and the study, might be accepted or put in place.

A 75% reduction in the cost of the following vaccines is available at Boyd’s Pharmasave:

✔️ Nasal Spray Flu Vaccine for children aged 2 to 17 years old
✔️ Shingles vaccine for adults aged 50 to 64 years old or 18+ if immunocompromised
✔️ RSV vaccine for adults aged 50 or older at increased risk of severe RSV disease

We are looking to grow our team and bring on a community-focused, self-motivated and passionate individual for the role of Pharmacy Assistant/Cashier. The successful individual will be responsible for entry-level pharmacy duties, such as prescription pick up, prescription and over-the-counter inventory management and store cleaning, with cross-training in our Primary Care Clinic as Clinic Admin and our front store as Front Store Cashier for sick calls and vacations.

This part-time position offers approximately 20-30 hours per week, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. Experience in a community pharmacy is an asset, but not a requirement, as we are looking for an individual who shares the morals and values our pharmacy strives to uphold for our community each and every day.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Greg Richard is a 2016 graduate of Dalhousie University’s College of Pharmacy. He believes that a successful community pharmacy is built upon the genuine relationships and trust that is formed between a pharmacist and their patients. He realizes the ever-changing profession that is pharmacy and is eager to explore new ideas to improve patient wellness.
