Please join us in welcoming Meghan Tattrie, D. Ac, to the Knotical team!

Meghan’s Acupuncture practice is dedicated to helping clients find harmony in their unique lifestyles, fostering the long-term healing they seek. Through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), she provides treatments tailored to address a wide range of concerns, including pain relief, emotional balance, digestive health, full-body rejuvenation, gynecological issues, and other imbalances.

Her treatments incorporate a variety of TCM techniques, such as electro-acupuncture, Gua Sha, Tui Na, fire cupping, and moxibustion. Meghan also integrates education on Eastern Nutrition and Chinese Dietary Therapy to empower her clients with tools for sustained wellness.

Outside her practice, Meghan is passionate about being in nature and by the sea, hiking, animals, movement, meditation, breath-work, community connection, travel, and music.

She is an active member of the Canadian and Nova Scotia chapters of CMAAC and is delighted to welcome new clients, building meaningful connections within the community!

It’s that time of the year again, we are helping to provide Christmas gifts for a family in need!🎄

This year, we will be helping out two boys, ages 5 & 7. The boys are obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog and would love any gifts related to that!!

They also have some winter essentials we are looking to buy as well, including snowsuits, boots, pjs, socks & underwear, shirts & pants! (See details in post).

It’s been a while since we’ve posted, so I thought we would reintroduce ourselves! 👋

💉 On the left we have Jade Oswald who is a registered Acupuncturist. Jade has experience treating a wide range of health conditions including acute and chronic MSK pain, insomnia, allergies, digestive ailments and gynaecological conditions. They have a special interest in mental health support, burn out and stress management.

💆🏻‍♀️ In the middle we have Amanda Pigeon, Registered Massage Therapist. Amanda has been practicing since 2007 and has a focus on therapeutic deep tissue massage. She has extensive continuing education in areas such as Table Thai Yoga Massage, Sacral Blocking, Gua Sha, Reflexology, Reiki, Cupping and more!

👩🏻‍⚕️ On the right is Chiropractor, Dr. Catie Gavin. She treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions brought on by both sports and general wear and tear. Her approach to treatment includes a combination of orthopaedic and functional assessment, current evidence-based research and clinical experience!

💆🏻‍♀️ Not pictured here is RMT, Jodi Greene. Her approach to treatment is a balance of therapeutic moderate to deep tissue intertwined with specific relaxation techniques. She has training in cupping, gua sha, pelvic health level 1, pre and post natal massage and myofascial release!

We would like to welcome Acupuncturist, Jade Oswald to the team!

Jade graduated in 2021 from Kootenay Columbia College of Integrative Health Sciences successfully completing the TCM practitioner program in Nelson BC. During their education they completed training in various Traditional Chinese medical modalities including: acupuncture, herbology, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, and tuina massage.

They are a general practitioner and have experience treating a wide range of health conditions, including acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, insomnia, respiratory conditions, allergies, digestive ailments and gynecological conditions. They have special interest in mental health support, burn out and stress management.

Jade has successfully passed the TCMP Pan-Canadian board exams and is a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists (NSAA) and is licensed as a R.TCMP with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). Additionally Jade is certified as a AcuDetox specialist (ADS) from the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.
