If a medical emergency were to happen in your office, do you feel confident your team can manage the situation?

Do you know it is mandatory for all registered dentists and dental assistants to take a course on the Management of Dental Emergencies in the Dental Office at least once during their 3-year continuing competence cycle?

Citadel Surgey and Frontline Medical invite you to join them on Saturday March 7th, 2026 for high quality, in person, Management of Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office.

This course meets the Provincial Dental Board criteria for the required CDE emergency course per cycle. It's also qualifies as the pre-requisite for Dalhousie University's Nitrous Oxide course.

Are you a motivated, compassionate professional looking to grow in a dynamic surgical environment? Join our team at Citadel Oral and Facial Surgery where patient care and clinical excellence are our top priorities.

Position: Registered Oral Surgery Dental Assistant
As an integral part of our surgical team, you’ll assist in a variety of oral surgery procedures, provide pre- and post-operative care, and ensure a safe, sterile, and welcoming environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:

📍Assist oral surgeon during procedures, including extractions, implants, sedation and general anesthetic cases.
📍Prepare and sterilize instruments and surgical rooms.
📍Take and process digital radiographs
📍Provide clear pre-operative and post – operative instructions to patients and caregivers.
📍Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
📍Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
📍Maintain inventory, order supplies, restock and maintain operatories, consult rooms and recovery area.
📍Coordinate booking of patients with admin staff and implant coordinator.

We are hiring! Citadel Oral and Facial Surgey is looking to hire a full-time dental receptionist.
If you are friendly, detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and check-in patients warmly upon arrival
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally
• Verify and update patient insurance information
• Process patient billing and collect payments
• Maintain patient records with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
• Coordinate communication between patients and dental team members
• Manage general administrative tasks such as handling mail and emails.
