Radon gas is getting a lot of attention lately, and for good reason. The only way to know if radon is present in your home is to test. 🏠

We’re inspired to see so many Islanders and Nova Scotians taking action to protect their lung health by ordering radon test kits. 💙

You can order yours today through our website: https://www.lungnspei.ca/shop

Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that is the 2nd-leading cause of lung cancer. Radon gas is invisible, colorless and odorless. When trapped in homes, it can build up to dangerous levels. We create programs to educate people about radon gas so they can test and mitigate, if necessary.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the The People's Place: Antigonish Town and County Library this evening for our FREE radon test kit giveaway and radon presentation. We hope everyone learned a little bit more about radon gas and will encourage their friends, family, and neighbours to test their homes
for this invisible danger.

There are still free radon kits available for pick-up at the library, while supplies last.
