๐ŸŒˆ Are you caring for a 2S/LGBTQIA+ person with HPV-related cancer?
๐Ÿ“ฝ๏ธ You are invited to participate in a short recorded interview (approximately 15 minutes) at Summit 2025!

During the conference, our Confronting HPV-Related Cancer project team is looking to speak to four (4) 2S/LGBTQIA+ people living with HPV-related cancer, and four (4) caregivers (past or present). Interview footage may be featured in a CBRC video series shared online and with health care providers.

HSHC is currently seeking a part-time Registered Social Worker or Social Work Candidate (Bachelors level) to join our multi-disciplinary team. HSHC is looking to pilot a Coordinator of our Gender-Affirming Care (GAC) program. This will provide new and existing clients the convenient option of having one primary direct-contact for coordinating services related to GAC needs. The Social Worker is responsible for administrative coordination as well as direct patient-facing care. At HSHC, all staff work autonomously and in collaboration with nurses, physicians, physiotherapists, and non-clinical team members to provide excellent sexual, reproductive, and gender-affirming healthcare to the community.

This position is specifically designated for those who identify as: Two-Spirit, transgender, non-binary, and/or gender diverse. To be eligible for this position, you must self-identify as belonging to a gender-minority group.

Now accepting participants up from ages 18-29!

Hosted in partnership with the Community Based Research Centre (CBRC), this new adaption of CBRCโ€™s popular Do You Mind program is a Health Leadership program designed to empower 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to address and prevent dating violence. Come build community, gain paraprofessional experience, and lead the change by making dating safer for young people in your community!

After completing a 2-day workshop, participants work together with local community leaders and service providers to create their own capstone community project and knowledge product that addresses an issue related to dating violence/intimate partner violence in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Food๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ• and honoraria๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ’ฐ provided!
