Check your coverage, most insurance plans cover a pair of orthotics every 1-2 years!
If you would like to submit your foot orthotic purchase through your insurance, your insurance company will require an orthotic Medical Doctor prescription. This will give you enough time to book in to see your family doctor, or book online with Maple through the YourHealthNS app.
Maple is a free virtual health care service for Nova Scotia residents that do not have a family doctor.
Additionally Nova Scotia residents that do have a family doctor receive their first two virtual visits complimentary.
Orthotics are great for those who are suffering from foot pain, ankle pain, knee pain, hip pain, low back pain, growth support for kids, or those of you who want to try Foot Levelers custom orthotics for daily activity, or need a new pair.
An orthotic appointment is 30 minutes and consists of:
- a foot scan & measurement with the Kinesiologist,
- Gait Analysis with a Chiropractor,
- and a Chiropractic subsequent treatment if you choose.
(Gait Analysis appointment is $65 incl. tax. | Orthotics are $425 this month, regular $500 incl. tax).
Please bring your Medical Doctor orthotic prescription to your appointment. We will give you the rest of the insurance required paperwork at your appointment.
