❄️ Save Your Back While Shoveling Today!
The snow is beautiful, but it’s heavy! Don’t let today’s snowfall turn into tomorrow’s back pain.
Here are 3 Quick Tips from our Physical Therapy team:
1. Push, Don't Lift: Whenever possible, push the snow to the side rather than lifting.
2. Pivot, Don't Twist: If you must throw snow, turn your whole body with your feet. Never twist your spine while holding a heavy load.
3. Warm Up: Treat shoveling like a workout. Do a few gentle stretches before heading out.
