Teaching and Performing Belly Dance in Halifax NS I am Jill Shireen, Creatrix and Foundress of Saraswati Lifestyle, Goddess Awakened.

Movement, Meditation and Mindfulness make up my formula for self-care. Saraswati Lifestyle is my holistic model for health and well-being. To me, life is about well-being taking a priority. It’s about going beyond physical health to heal ourselves emotionally and spiritually. It's about mind, body and spirit together. Movement: Raks sharki (belly dance) for a full body workout and learning to embody the Goddess. Meditation: The healing modalities of the Divine Feminine. Including (but not limited to!) Astrology, Chakras, Tarot, the Elements and Seasons, Goddess Archetypes, Lunar Cycles. Mindfulness: The importance of shadow work, the spiritual journey, healing our individual and collective wounds.

🔥 I cant count the number of times I've let myself start over. The space of transitions, the in between, is a familiar and comfortable place. The goddess of wisdom and knowledge, fine arts, music and dance. By my side since childhood, Saraswati is the ethereal goddess of imagination and creativity. Problem-solving, flexible thinking, compassion. Feminine. Flexible. Fun-Loving. Forgiving. Vivacious. She is the Goddess, She is The Divine Feminine.

We are reinventing ourselves in a world whose ongoing corruption called Toxic Masculinity depends on our following rules we did not set. Together we can create a better reality where for example, equality exists. We are here to bring more Divine Feminine into our society. All you have to do is turn on your imagination and trust in love,
