Dear Valued Client,

We at LifeCare would like to take a moment to wish you a very warm and safe Holiday Season.

As you are scrambling to find the most perfect gifts, decorations, snacks, and drinks, we would like to remind you about the importance of looking after yourself and your CPAP machine as well. Items like CPAP masks, humidifier chambers, tubing and filters are often covered by insurance companies on an annual basis.
As you are counting down to the end of 2024, you may also be counting down to the end of another benefit year!

Though we cannot tell you what your insurance plan covers, below you will find a list of the most common insurance companies’ phone numbers. If you are unsure what your coverage is, they will be able to tell you what you are eligible for each calendar year. Most companies also allow 1-2 masks per year and a new CPAP every five years. Maybe you could end up with a new CPAP under the tree! We have mask wipes and tube cleaning brushes in stock as well!

Is it a little too peopley out there? Want to stay safely tucked in at home? No problem! As always, we can arrange to do a virtual appointment with you, and supplies can be safely picked up from our outside drop box, or we can do a no-charge zero-contact delivery to your home. If you are still looking for the in-person experience, we invite you to call us and we will set an appointment time for you. You can reach Julie in Halifax at 902-450-5664. Hello everyone!

For your reference, here is a link in regards to the June 14, 2021 Respironics Voluntary CPAP Recall. Clicking the link will give you all of the information available to date.

Respironics has arranged a third party company, Sedgwick, to handle the recall, and they will be in contact with you if your CPAP Serial Number is one of the affected units. By clicking the below link, you will find a field to register your serial number and ensure that Sedgwick has your current information on hand.

If you bought your Respironics CPAP machine from any location other than LifeCare, please contact them directly to ensure that they have up-to date contact information for you, as each serial number is registered to the clinic that originally sold the device.

If you need to contact us, please send all inquiries to lifecare@bellaliant.com. Please ensure that each inquiry comes with your complete name, plus up-to-date address, phone number and email.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all do our best to resolve this recall as information becomes available.

Hey everyone!!!

In following with recommendations from Dr.Strang, please note that all of our offices are CLOSED to in-person appointments or supply refills for the next four weeks.

As always, supplies can be picked up from a drop box using zero-contact pickup, or we can arrange to have supplies delivered to your home. Check-ups and account payments can all happen over the phone until further notice.

Thank you for your understanding during this time of rapid change. We will let you know once people are permitted in the buildings again.

Hello friends!

LifeCare in Liverpool will be changing their opening hours, to suit you better. Effective April 26, 2021, our Liverpool office will be working the following hours:

Monday - CLOSED
Tuesday - 8:30 - 4:00
Wednesday - 8:30 - 4:00
Thursday - 8:30 - 12:30
Friday - CLOSED

To book an appointment, you can reach Jane at 902-356-3565. Outside of office hours, a message can be left and Jane will return the call upon her return to the office the next scheduled business day.

For after hours emergencies, please call 911.

We can be reached at 1-800-565-5664 if you would like to leave a message with our after-hours answering service, and your call will be returned from the Halifax office the following day.

All of us at LifeCare would like to kindly remind everyone that a covid pre-screening questionnaire must be completed by phone before anyone enters any of our buildings. Please call in advance for all inquiries to complete your questionnaire prior to entering the building. Thank you for your understanding.
