Reiki began in china around 500 BC it was then known as ling chi until Dr Mikao Usui rediscovered it in the 1920's and began teaching it in Japan . this energy healing was then known as Usui Reiki Ryoho now know in the western world as Reiki, anyone can learn and practice reiki as long as they have taken the proper courses where they become attuned in the art of reiki if you wish to have training and you live in Nova Scotia you can contact me by email or phone
