AA Speaker Scouts 🔊 Friends, we are in continuous need of speakers. I have been a member of AA for 44 years, and searching on Facebook for a speaker to speak in California.

Bill Wilson's (Bill W.) 4 years old and biography is related to Alcoholics Anonymous at age 4; he was born in 1895 and spent his early childhood in Vermont, not associated with the founding of AA at that age. His significant journey to sobriety, which led to co-founding AA, began much later, around 1934, when he was 39 years old.
Bill Wilson's Life and AA:
Early Life: Bill Wilson was born in 1895 and spent his first five years in East Dorset, Vermont.
Later Life: His path to sobriety, which was a foundational aspect of Alcoholics Anonymous, took place in 1934 when he was 39 years old.
Co-founding AA: Bill W. co-founded Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935, with his first meeting with co-founder Dr. Bob taking place that year.

Father Martin is a true celebrity - known both nationally and internationally in the alcoholism/addiction field. With a blackboard as his only prop, Father Martin has been educating for over 50 years. By 1970, with the permission of his superiors, he worked full-time as one of the foremost lecturers and consultants on alcoholism. Although he has spent much of his time on the road, lecturing around the world, Father Martin has found time to preside over Ashley, a non-profit treatment center in Havre De Grace, Maryland. He continues to be known and loved by thousands upon thousands of recovering alcoholics and their families, many of whom he has personally helped through lectures and films
