As you may already be aware, all of the profits from book sales are being donated to Face the Future Foundation to help children around the world (just like Patty aims to do through education!)
If you are able to, consider attending the fundraiser May 27, or donating online (link in bio)! Any donation helps 💕

Good Morning Lovelies!

Patty and the Pandemic by Nicole Crimi

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just wanted to take a second to share this book. I don't usually review children's books but I think this one is a great read for parents, grandparents, teachers etc to share with kids of all ages.

My daughter is 6 and very mature for her age. She understands everything pretty well and our parenting approach is to educate and help her understand versus keeping her sheltered.

When she went back to school in September, the transition from kindergarten to grade 1 was huge! Throw in a pandemic and it's understandable that she experienced a lot of anxiety. Especially at lunch when her class takes of their masks to eat. Poor thing was scared not for herself but for the safety of her classmates.
The author of Patty and the Pandemic is a med student at McMaster University where my husband also works so he discovered it and thought it might be the perfect thing to help our kiddo get over some of the fear associated with covid.

Patty and the Pandemic is a great tool and story and though it may not be the cure for everyone, it will go along way helping to empower kids during trying times!
