Loneliness in a Spiritual sense is a state of Imbalance that occurs when the Shadows allow you to forget just how much LIFE is around you. I speak not of our friends, our partners, our televisions, for they are not the cause of empty spaces within. (Today anyway...)
Loneliness of Spiritual Self happens when your Wards have been carried or put in place with no set instructions.
Wards are not for "just in case of uncomfortable s**t close your eyes and grip tightly"
Wards are specific. Wards take time and Focus to create, to recharge, and to dismantle.
Putting up a Ward, or laying down a Ward for "general safety and whatnot" creates a loneliness so deep it makes you wonder if your larynx has been deactivated.
Examples of temporary Warding would be during a Samhain Feast when you have invited certain guests by name, and by photograph, painting, or a Memento Mori. You Charm your Hagstone as their safe entry point, OR your cat door, or usual safe Spirit Entry point for Ritual work, even Self, if you Channel for Ritual. Once your Supper and Divination has begun, you'll not want any unknowns or unwelcomes to hijack your special night, so you place your Wards at the Cardinal Direction Points. You uplift them, cleanse, clear and ground when all is done the next morning, after seeing your chosen guests out through the Hagstone or chosen portal.
Loneliness through Spiritual protection so intensely strong that you shut yourself off from the vibration of Life is born out of fear, and out of a misunderstanding of the power of the Life around you.
Not everything wants to hurt you.
Not everything is going to sound like or resemble the person who hurt you.
Not everything is out to get you or use your Energy for their own purpose.
Stop watching those movies "based on real life", because the ACTUAL truth is often so mundane that movie or documentary makers insert their own "poetic license" and childhood fears. Don't fall for something designed to entertain and make it gospel. I am forbidden to bring a Spirit Board into my house because my husband has watched too much bulls**t. I have other ways although a Ouija board is still a much desired possession.... (pun intended)
Find the tiny lives that exist around you. Communication with those opens the door to other worlds.
Absolutely there are things that will work cheerfully for Trickster, but they are easily put off by simply asking the benign Energies to alert you. There are specific Amulets for the Unseely creatures that render the wearer Untouchable. Make one. Make it unique to YOU. Put it on when you open Self. It's not a Ward, so those with whom you wish to speak will still come forward.
Amulet equals AWAY from you.
Talisman equals TOWARD you.
Remember that YOU are in control of YOUR Magic, YOUR Witchcraft, YOUR Energy and YOUR Sacred Spaces.
Don't let those things be stolen from you by your own fear or limitations.
Light your candles in whichever colour or material YOU choose, and speak to the tiny creatures that sit on the leaves of your plants in the Sunlight. Speak to the creatures that burrow into the soil until Moonrise, and speak to the flying beasts that struggle in the silky traps of Arachne. Do not free them. It is not for you to decide who lives and who dies on that level. THAT will get every eye you don't want on you to swivel in your direction.
Life is life.
Death is death.
Neither has to be lonely.
Spirit is better wifi than WIFI is.
