WHY WE LIFT HEAVY
Our members keep messaging me saying the SAME thing:
“I love lifting heavier.”
And I’m not surprised.
Your body responds to load.
Strength feels good.
Confidence feels good.
And yes — looking good feels good too (let’s be real).
But here’s the line that hit me on a podcast the other day:
“If you aren’t lifting heavy… your bones are chalk.”
And unfortunately?
Science agrees.
The LIFTMOR study (2018) took women with LOW bone density and put them on heavy lifting — and their bone density, strength, and balance all went UP.
Injuries? Almost zero.
This isn’t just data for me… it’s personal.
My grandmother fell right before her 62nd birthday, broke her hip, and never came out of the hospital.
That kind of bone loss is preventable — but only if we start NOW.
This is why we lift at my studio.

It’s about muscle, bone density, heart health, balance, mobility…
and feeling GOOD in your own skin.
