I always hear from clients, "I eat a pretty healthy diet!"
and I used to believe this statement myself...
back when I was 32, eating a mostly raw food, fermented diet, tons of salads, superfood smoothies, and chia puddings galore. don't forget the meat.
truth is... it actually worked for a bit.
my skin glowed, my energy rose. I was sure I was levitating or elevating to the most astral echelons of consciousness!
until I wasn't.
2 years later, everything had flipped.
I had gained 20 pounds, was constantly bloated, freezing cold, brain fog, not to mention... 5, 6, 7, bowel movements a day.
and my skin looked anything but flawless...
it wasn't until a Master Herbalist, looked at my tongue and said...
NO fruit, NO raw, No dairy.
Everything I had been eating. Who knew eating salads and superfood smoothies could be bad for you?
This began my 13 year journey into eastern (ayurvedic) medicine!
I later found eat some interesting facts about about "eating a pretty healthy diet":
1. ginger is not good for everyone - it can actually cause inflammation/worsen insomnia in some people and send them straight into late stage adrenal fatigue
2. lemon in some people - can actually make liver toxicity worse
3. a raw food diet can actually worsen the BIG C in some folks
4. dairy is not bad for everyone, but can be super moisturizing and healing in those with heat, inflammation and dryness.
5. grains are NOT the arch enemy for everyone! In some kindred spirits they can improve constipation, insomnia, lower back pain and reduce hot flashes.
It's so important to learn what foods are right for your specific constitution... to correct your imbalances and help you suffer less.
everyone is different.
I love a good healthy diet. I really do.
But if eating clean was the full solution…
you’d already feel amazing.
And yet—here we are.
Because 30–80% of what’s going on in your body?
Is emotional. Stored. Unprocessed. Unspoken.
👉 Tight shoulder/neck pain that refuse to go away, regardless of physio, massage or acupuncture...
That's not a posture problem. That’s bottled-up anger and a lifetime of over-responsibility sitting there like, “Hi, can you please pay attention to me?”
👉 Chronic constipation/diarrhea, despite ENTIRE communities of probiotics consumed....
That’s years of swallowing your truth, walking on eggshells, and your body going, “We don’t feel safe here.”

Hunny, that's not a willpower problem. That’s every side comment, every judgment, every “are you sure you should eat that?” that got stored instead of processed.
You can’t out-salad unresolved trauma.
At some point,
your body’s gonna ask or demand you to feel it.
