Lohifa is a Hamilton Entrepreneur, serving on the boards of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, The Hamilton Foundation for Student Success, The Hamilton Club, as well as contributing to the YWCA Hamilton and Halton's Philanthropy and Communications Committee.
She is an advocate for community development, and for healthy, thriving and just communities. She is also the founder of Excel-in-Style, a non-profit powered by 70+ Hamilton based textured hair stylists and barbers dedicated to mentoring and empowering black and racialized youth across the city.
