✨ End-of-Year Massage Appointments OPEN! ✨
There is such a high demand for massage therapy right now, so I’ve opened up extra spots for those needing to get in before the end of the year! 🙌💆‍♀️

A quick reminder: our No-Show Policy is in full effect.
Life gets busy, we overbook ourselves, things come up—I totally get it. All I ask is at least 5 hours’ notice if you can’t make your appointment. That gives someone on the waitlist a chance to jump in on short notice. 💛

If you cancel within that window or don’t show, the 100% no-show fee will apply.

Thank you for respecting my time, your time, and everyone waiting to get in! 💛
Let’s finish the year feeling GOOD. ✨

Patients ask this question to me all the time: Why do joints crack — and is it bad? 🤔

Sometimes cracks happen naturally and feel great. Other times… not so much!
The sound isn’t what helps — relief actually comes from reducing tension in the joint (which can happen with OR without a pop).

👉 The trouble comes when we try to crack ourselves on purpose. This can overstretch ligaments, irritate tissues, and even create instability over time — especially in the spine.

Gentle, precise techniques often create more long-term improvement than “quick crack” approaches. The crack might feel dramatic, but slow and steady usually wins the mobility race. 💛

If you ever feel like you “need to crack” something often, your body might be telling you it’s time for an assessment.

Used the Bioflex Nano Wave on my dog’s luxating patella today to help calm down the inflammation from his kneecap slipping around in that right hind leg. 😣 Poor Sid… it’s been a week of limping and he may need surgery to fully fix the issue.
In the meantime, laser therapy is absolutely indicated to help manage the excess inflammation, so we’re doing what we can at home.

I chose the Nano because my regular clinical laser is way too big for his tiny knee joint. (I tried… he was NOT having it. The size alone made him wiggle like a worm. 🐛😂)

The Nano was the perfect size, but I did have to play around with the settings because the red light setting gives off noticeable heat.
Here’s what worked tonight:
• 5 min red — but Sid started wiggling
• Switched to 5 min half red / half blue — still squirmy
• Ended with 5 min blue only, which he tolerated so much better

Tomorrow I’m going to see if he can handle the red/blue combo again (hoping it’s less warm as he gets used to it) and fingers crossed we can work up to the full 20-minute therapeutic dose.

Healing journey for my little man continues. 💙🐾

Almost did a quick 5-min warm-up… but then I saw sitting there with his 20-min ride and, honestly, how do you say no to that face?!
And look at mine — that’s me mid-workout, absolutely in the zone. 😂🚴‍♀️💦

It’s getting harder and harder to find appointments!
This is the busiest time of year for all massage therapists!

Why? Because clients with benefits are suddenly realizing it’s time to use them before they expire. Whether you were saving them “just in case” or simply forgot about your massage health all year — it all bottlenecks into our schedules around this time!

💆‍♀️ Lisa’s clients are ahead of the game — they book ahead and are the lucky ones! Her schedule is the toughest to get into.
💆‍♀️ Melissa’s clients are almost as organized — you might still find a spot here and there, but they’re disappearing fast!
💆‍♀️ Katy’s schedule is a bit more flexible (a gentle way of saying her clients haven’t quite caught up yet 😉).

📲 Text 905-769-3355 — sometimes a therapist opens a day they don’t normally work, and you might just snag that rare opening!

The plan was a 45-minute ride… but apparently my Thanksgiving dinner had other plans! 😅 Started pedaling and the cramps said nope! — so a 20-minute ride it is. Still counts! 🦃🚴‍♀️💪

Phew 😅 this week has been nonstop and today I almost canceled my workout. But I told myself: “15 min—it’s not that much!” And I did it! ✅ Sometimes showing up is the real win. Next week though… I’m coming back stronger and ready to kick some serious ass! 💪🔥

So busy today, but I still got it done! 🙌 15 minutes with and I’m glad I showed up to get my butt kicked 💪🔥 ...
