You’re not wrong for bringing up multiple concerns.
They often are connected and valid.
But when you bring them up all at once, two things happen:
1. You can both lose focus.
2. The original issue gets buried.
Now you’re both trying to track multiple problems—and nothing actually gets resolved.
Overload can set in.
Emotions rise.
Clarity drops.
And instead of understanding each other…
you both end up in frustration, shutdown, or going in circles.
What started as one conversation turns into everything that’s ever been wrong.
Consider this instead:
Stay with one issue. Fully.
Then move to the next.
