During the busy holiday season, it’s easy to rush, multitask, and expect perfection—from ourselves and our practice.
Today’s reminder: choose presence over perfection.
Slow your transitions. Soften your gaze. Let each breath anchor you back into the moment.
Your practice doesn’t need to be big or impressive to be meaningful. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give yourself is simply showing up, breathing deeply, and allowing things to unfold exactly as they are. 🧘♀️🎁

Our teachers draw inspiration from many styles including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Anusara and Iyengar Yoga and emphasize alignment, quality of breath and moving mindfully through sequences.

About our founder
Katie is the founder of De La Sol Yoga Studios in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada which first opened in 2006 and expanded to a second location in Waterdown Ontario. She is the host of Yoga With Katie, a 30 min instructional yoga show which airs six days a week and is seen by 900,000 viewers. Recently, Katie has been speaking out at high schools and recovery centers about her history of drug addiction and ongoing journey towards wellness and wholeness.
