JJ is 10 months old! 🩵

He is crawling all over the house, lifts himself to standing and walks along, continues to put everything in his mouth, and will soon be attempting to crawl up the stairs. 🫠😆

We still have yet to find his favourite foods but he’s liking avocado and he loves bone broth.

He’s working on his 8th tooth, naps like a champ (though wakes up pretty often for overnight feeds, which will likely lessen as he eats more solids!), and is such a cute, cuddly, cheeky and happy guy. 🩵

Happy birthday to my favourite leap year baby (10.5 today wow!) 😆

We’ve been together since we were teenagers, and even back then our favourite thing was just being together. That’s still true today, only now we have our little humans with us, and I truly wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else.

You are the best dad. Your favourite place in the world is with your family, and you make even the smallest moments feel special.

You work so hard to provide for us, and because of that I get to live out my most favourite role: being home with our babies as their mama and your wife.

You still make me laugh every single day, and you have this gift of making everyone feel comfortable, which is why you’re not only an amazing husband and dad, but also such a great Realtor, friend, and human.

We love you so much! Happy Birthday ❤️

Happy 9 months to our Jesse boy! 🩵

He is crawling ALL around the house now and loves pulling himself up on any and every available surface. He has 5 teeth and more are about to pop through. His babbles are the best… I love how he says “mmm” first before he says mama, and how he whispers “dada”… so freakin’ cute! We are just soaking up alllll of it.

This season looks different for me.

I’m choosing presence over pressure.

Pausing one thing so I can fully show up for another.

I’m choosing to press pause on my business (for now) and step fully into being home.

Not forever. Not with a plan. Just with trust. 🤍

Happy 8 months to our Jesse James!

He’s got 4 teeth now with more coming in any day. He crawling on his tummy, using his elbows to pull himself forward, and he loves holding onto the side of the couch and standing. He says dada and mama and has babbling conversations with us and it’s adorable. 🩵

Happy 7 months to our Jesse James! 🩵

His bottom two teeth have popped out, and his top left is going to any day now. He just learned how to wave when we say “hiiiiii!!!” and it’s the cutest thing EVER. He is gearing up to crawl and looks like it’s going to be happening soon! As far as foods go, he loved egg yolk but a few times in, he reacted to it so he may be allergic (finding out soon), and he hated avocado. 😆 So, more foods will be introduced this month! We just love cuddling with him and watching him do what he does, and we’re soaking it all up. 🩵

We are focusing on the wrong thing, mamas! ❌

Stop talking (or even thinking) about your metabolism; instead, create a list (even 1 or 2 things to start with) of healthy habits and START. THEM.

Period!

When you shift your focus to something you can control, you WILL start to see results, and a lot quicker than when you focused on what wasn’t working or things you couldn’t control.

Seriously.
