✨ My pain disappeared after a restorative practice ✨
I received an invitation from a friend of mine—who is also a yoga therapist—to join a restorative yoga series: 20 minutes a day for 10 days (5 days at the end of 2025 and 5 days at the beginning of the new year).
On the second day, I noticed pain in my left arm in the evening. I’m not sure how it started—it felt very much like a pulled muscle. Maybe from lifting something heavy out of the fridge or scrubbing pots and pans with too much force.
I had my second day 20 minute practice. The photos show how i set up the props. What was meant to be a 20-minute practice turned into a nearly two-hour nap 😴 (with a few distractions along the way). When I finally came out of the pose, I realized something amazing—the pain in my arm was gone. It hasn’t come back either. This winter break, I’m really realizing how important rest is.
