Happy ! Today's feature is one of our SLPs, Victoria!

Victoria became a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in 2019. She completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics at McMaster University in 2016, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Speech and Language Sciences at Brock University in 2017. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 2019.

Following her graduate studies, Victoria completed a Clinical Fellowship in New York State as a Speech Language Pathologist with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), where she gained specialized experience assessing and treating children ages 3 to 5. She is PROMPT trained (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) and is an active member of both the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and ASHA.

Victoria has worked in a variety of settings and primarily supports school aged children. She is passionate about helping children thrive and has extensive experience assessing and treating a broad range of communication needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders, literacy challenges, cognitive communication disorders, and social pragmatic communication difficulties.

She is committed to providing client centered care, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique strengths and goals.
