If you deal with lower back pain, the reverse hyper is one of the most underrated tools out there. We’re fortunate to have one at our facility.

Unlike a lot of exercises that compress the spine, the reverse hyper actually helps decompress it while strengthening the muscles that support your lower back. It builds up your glutes, hamstrings, and spinal erectors — all key players in keeping your back healthy and pain-free.

It also promotes blood flow to the lower back, which can help with recovery and reduce stiffness over time.

For me personally, it’s been a game changer not just for performance, but for keeping my back feeling good day-to-day, and recovering from heavy sessions

If you struggle with back pain, it might be worth adding this into your routine. Start light, focus on control, and build from there. Here’s a quick demo of what the machine looks like when using, but if you ever see me in the gym and want some tips on using the machine effectively, please don’t hesitate to ask!
