As the holiday season approaches, on behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, physicians, and leadership team at Hanover and District Hospital, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our community.
This past year has brought both challenge and change, and through it all, we have been continually reminded of the strength, generosity, and compassion that define our community. Every day, we are inspired by the trust you place in us and by the many people who support care at HDH in meaningful ways.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our clinical volunteers, whose presence and compassion make a difference in the patient experience; to the HDH Auxiliary, whose dedication and longstanding commitment continue to support patient care and hospital priorities; and to the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation, whose leadership and fundraising efforts are critical in helping advance essential projects and enhance care close to home. We are deeply thankful for your partnership and unwavering support.
To our patients and families, thank you for trusting us with your care and for allowing us to support you during some of life’s most vulnerable moments. And to our staff and physicians, we are deeply grateful for your professionalism, compassion, and resilience, and for the exceptional care you provide every day—especially during times of continued pressure across the health system locally and regionally.
As we look ahead to the new year, we remain focused on strengthening services, advancing important redevelopment initiatives, and continuing to provide safe, compassionate, and exceptional care for our community.
