I am pleased to be offering Registered Massage Therapy services in the Hanover area, operating out of Saugeen Physiotherapy & Allied Health Centre beginning January 2026. Prior to becoming an RMT, I graduated with distinction from the Health and Physical Education program at Nipissing University and worked as a Kinesiologist from 2013 to 2020. Outside of the clinic, I maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy weight training, hiking, and spending time with my husband and two children. ✨ Spotlight on Massage Lotion ✨

I’m often asked what lotion I use during sessions, so I wanted to share! My go-to is BIOTONE® Advanced Therapy Massage Lotion.

Clients love that it provides a smooth glide without a greasy finish, and it’s much gentler on linens compared to oil-based products. I appreciate the balance it offers — just the right amount of glide with controlled traction — making it ideal for deep tissue work, relaxation massage, and therapeutic treatments.

If you have any allergies or sensitivities to grapeseed, apricot, or sesame, please let me know prior to your appointment. Your comfort is my priority!

✨ Massage & Exercise for Cancer Patients ✨

When thoughtfully adapted, gentle exercise and oncology-informed massage can greatly support people living with cancer.

💆‍♀️ Massage helps reduce pain, tension, and stress, while improving relaxation and sleep.

🏃‍♀️ Gentle exercise helps manage fatigue, maintain strength and mobility, and boost mood.

Together, they support comfort, confidence, and overall quality of life during and after treatment.

⚠️ All sessions are always modified and coordinated with the healthcare team.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, I have clinical training working with a variety of pathologies, including cancer. I also completed my Cancer Exercise Trainer Certification through the Rocky Mountain Cancer Research Institute at the University of Northern Colorado and have worked with cancer survivors as a Kinesiologist.

🌀Foam Rolling: A Simple Tool for Better Movement & Recovery 🌀

I love to incorporate foam rolling into my daily routine! Foam rolling helps release muscle tension, improve flexibility, and support overall recovery. By applying gentle pressure to tight areas, you can help your body move more freely and feel better day to day in between your massage therapy appointments!

✨ Benefits include:
✔ Reduced muscle stiffness and soreness
✔ Improved mobility and range of motion
✔ Enhanced circulation and recovery
✔ Support for stress relief and relaxation

💡 Even just a few minutes can make a difference when done consistently.

👉 Ready to feel the benefits?
At your next appointment, feel free to ask how to foam roll safely, or learn which techniques are best for your body. I’m here to help!

P.S. children can add an extra challenge! 😅

✨ Cupping & Gua Sha – What Are They? ✨

Here’s a short and sweet overview of these treatments. I’m certified in both cupping and gua sha and can happily incorporate them into your session if requested or recommended.

🔵 Cupping uses suction cups on the skin to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, ease pain, and promote relaxation.

🟢 Gua Sha uses a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape the skin, helping release tight muscles, increase blood flow, reduce stiffness, and improve mobility.

💆‍♀️ Great for sore muscles, tension, and overall wellbeing.

Did you know that your remedial stretching and exercise plan is just as important as your massage therapy appointment?

There may be several weeks between sessions, so completing any prescribed home care is essential to maintaining your progress. A good stretch can truly go a long way!

With my background in Kinesiology, I enjoy helping clients return to their daily activities with confidence. If you’re interested in having your movement assessed for further evaluation, let me know at your next appointment and we can set that up.

I am a Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Level 1 & 2 professional. What is FMS? It’s a standardized movement screening tool that assesses how you move in everyday life. It considers both mobility and stability and helps guide individualized exercise selection.

✨ Did you know I’m certified in Thai Massage? ✨
I completed my 108-hour Level 1 & 2a certification through Thai Massage Toronto. One of my favourite elements of Thai Massage is incorporating gentle, passive stretching into treatments.

Passive stretching can help improve flexibility and range of motion, while also relieving stress and boosting circulation. While I’m not currently offering full Thai Massage sessions, I’m happy to incorporate passive movement into your treatment upon request.

👉 Interested in adding this to your next session? Book your appointment today or send me a message to learn more!
