Exciting changes are happening! ✨

Our clinic will be saying goodbye to our current space and beginning a new chapter. As we transition and search for our next home, we will be offering virtual sessions only for the time being.

While we’ll miss connecting in person, we’re grateful that virtual therapy allows us to continue supporting our wonderful clients without interruption. Thank you for your continued trust and support during this transition — we can’t wait to share updates once we find our new space!

If you have any questions about booking virtual sessions, feel free to reach out. 💻

Exciting News!

I am officially part of the First Session community- a platform that helps you find the right therapist fit for you.

Working with clients one on one has always been deeply meaningful to me, and I am so excited to make therapy more accessible, relatable, and real through this space.

I even got to film a little intro video with them, so you can get a feel for who I am and how I work. Check it out below!

If you or someone you know is looking for a therapist, feel free to share or reach out!

Therapy isn’t just for couples — it’s for friendships, family dynamics, and the relationship you have with yourself too.
When you start healing one connection, the ripple effects can show up in all the best ways.

Sometimes we can feel stuck in relationships. Finding the same problems or type of partners over and over again. And it can get really hard to not question yourself, and ask “What am I doing wrong?”

But often, it’s not about doing something wrong — it’s about carrying old patterns we haven’t been taught how to recognize or shift.
The good news is, with self-awareness and support, these patterns can change. You can build healthier connections and feel more grounded in who you are within your relationships.
Healing doesn’t mean fixing yourself — it means understanding yourself more deeply.

They say good things take time- and this office is no exception. While the journey took longer than I expected, I couldn’t be happier with how everything has come together.
I’m thrilled to finally open the doors to this new space and begin offering in-person sessions for those who feel more comfortable meeting face to face. If you’re thinking about investing in yourself or ready for a meaningful change, now is the perfect time to start.
Appointments are now available in person at our Harrow office, as well as virtually across Ontario. Reach out to book your first session today!

As a therapist, I often tell my clients that it would do them good to sit with certain feelings. But what does that actually mean?

Sitting with your feelings is allowing yourself to fully experience an emotion without rushing to try to fix it or block it out. It’s about naming what you feel without judgement, noticing where the emotion may sit in your body, allowing it to exist without resisting it, and giving it the space to breathe instead of suppressing it.

Sitting with these emotions does not mean you have to like them; in fact the process can be rather difficult and painful at times. However, when we honour these feelings by validating them, whatever they are, in time it can lead to deeper self-awareness, healing and emotional resilience.

So, what is one way you allow yourself to sit with your feelings?

This year I decided to make Monday nights a little more special. And now they have become my favorite ritual - Monday night yoga. It’s something I find myself craving every week, a way to reset, reconnect, and be more in tune with what my body needs. Some days, that means pushing a little harder; other days, it means showing myself grace.
What’s something you do to start your week feeling grounded? I’d love to hear about your rituals!

Perfection isn’t the goal - progress is🌱
The truth is, imperfection is what makes you human. It’s the thing that connects us and reminds us that we’re all a work in progress.

When we hold ourselves to impossible standards, we miss out on the joy of simply being. What if you gave yourself permission to let go of “perfect” and embrace the beauty of who you are right now?
Here are some self-affirmations to help you on that journey:

* I celebrate my progress, no matter how small.
* Mistakes help me grow and learn.
* I am more than enough.

Remember, you don’t need to have it all figured out. Take a deep breath, give yourself grace, and embrace the messy, beautiful process - being unapologetically YOU.

✨This Week’s Self-Affirmation✨
Trusting yourself can feel hard sometimes, especially when past mistakes or choices don’t fully align with your values. But remember, building self-trust is a journey, not a destination.
The choices others make may not match yours, and that’s okay. You are the expert on your own life. You know yourself better than anyone else, and you have the power to make the decisions that are best for you.
Take a deep breath, listen to your inner voice, and trust yourself. You’ve got this💪🏻

For January, I wanted to share a few affirmations as we continue into this new year.

Affirmations are more than just words- they are powerful reminders of our worth, strength and potential. They are positive statements that help challenge negative thoughts, build confidence and shift your mindset towards growth. Affirmations work best when they are consistent and align with your values.

For this week, it is good to remember that your time, energy and mental well-being are precious. Setting boundaries isn’t selfish; it is an act of self-care and self-respect.

What is one boundary will you set for yourself in this new year?
