This National Volunteer Week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers here at Station Place 💙

You truly make a difference in the lives of our residents every single day. From spiritual care and pet therapy visits to meaningful 1:1 visits, volunteer-led programs, and events, assisting with music, baking, and other recreational activities — your time, compassion, and dedication bring comfort, joy, and connection to our community.
We are proud to have 18 registered volunteers, and our volunteer program continues to be an incredible success thanks to each of you.
As part of our commitment to excellence, all volunteers complete a thorough onboarding process to learn safety protocols, best practices, and key policies—helping maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and team members.

While not all volunteers are pictured here, we appreciate each and every one of you equally.

Thank you for being such an important part of our Station Place community. We appreciate you today and every day! 🌟

Did you know it takes about 40 litres of maple sap to make just 1 litre of syrup?

We indulged in some delicious maple treats—ice cream drizzled with golden syrup and maple cookies. 🍦🍪

We were so excited this month to learn and participate in a unique program—Holi Rangoli! 🎨🌸
Holi is a major Hindu festival of colours, love, and spring. As part of our celebration, residents explored the beautiful art of rangoli, creating vibrant designs!
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about a new culture while expressing creativity and having fun together. 💛
