In times of loss, kindness, respect, and sensitivity matter more than ever - both in person and online.

A question that often comes up is: Is it appropriate to post about a funeral on social media?
The answer isn’t always straightforward ➡ it really depends on the situation.

If the family has chosen to share the information publicly, it’s generally okay to acknowledge it. Keep your message simple, sincere, and respectful. ✅

However, it’s important to be mindful:
❌ Avoid sharing photos, service details, or private moments without clear permission
❌ Don’t post anything the family hasn’t made public or may not be ready to share

Grief is deeply personal, and every family navigates it differently. Not everyone wants their loss discussed online, and that choice should always be honored.

When you’re unsure, it’s best to choose discretion. A quiet message of support, a handwritten note, or simply being there for someone can mean far more than a social media post.

Creating a space to openly talk about death, dying, and the meaning of life takes courage, curiosity, and compassion - and each of you brought that with you. With a group of ten, the conversation felt intimate, thoughtful, and deeply respectful. Every voice mattered, and it showed. Whether you shared personal reflections or simply listened with intention, your presence helped create a truly meaningful experience.💫

We are especially appreciative of the openness, kindness, and genuine engagement shown throughout the session. These conversations are not always easy, but together you made them feel natural, comforting, and even life-affirming. 🤍
