“The Sacred Unraveling:
Finding Peace in the Endings of 2025
If you’re ending this year feeling a bit breathless, or perhaps even a little bruised, I want you to take a deep breath and hear this: 2025 was never meant to be easy. We often walk into a new year praying for "gentle," but the universe had a much more rigorous curriculum in mind for us.
We have been living at the intersection of two powerful forces—the Year of the Snake and the Universal 9 Year—and together, they formed a "clean-up crew" that was as relentless as it was necessary.
In the natural world, a snake doesn't shed its skin because it wants to; it sheds because it has grown too large for its old skin. This is a process that leaves the snake itchy, vulnerable, and uncomfortable.
This year, we were all that snake.
We were being pushed out of old versions of ourselves that simply couldn't contain our potential anymore.
Snake energy is ruthlessly honest; it slides into the dark corners of our lives and exposes what is false, forcing us to look at the cracks in foundations we tried so hard to ignore.
This shedding was intensified by the numerology of the Universal 9 Year. In any nine-year cycle, the ninth year represents the grand finale. It is the clearing of the deck before a new story can begin.
When you combine the snake’s shedding with the 9’s sense of completion, the result is a year that feels like a series of final doors slamming shut.
If you experienced loss this year—whether it was a career path, a relationship, or a long-held dream—it’s vital to realize that this wasn't a failure on your part. It was alignment doing its job. Things didn't fall apart because you weren't enough; they ended because they were complete. They had served their purpose in your evolution, and to keep them any longer would have been to carry dead weight into a fresh start.
The transitions of 2025 were often sudden and felt incredibly final, leaving us standing in the quiet space of "what now?" But there is a profound mercy in a clean break. As we move toward a new cycle, the greatest gift you can give yourself is to let those stories end where they are. Don’t try to sew the old skin back on or drag unfinished chapters into your future. Trust that the space cleared this year wasn't meant to stay empty—it was cleared to make room for a version of you that you haven’t even met yet.
Trust the process. “
