We celebrated with family, friends and residents all singing along to karaoke. It was so much fun and lots of laughs too!!

📣 This month, we had a fantastic lunch outing at Ranchers’ restaurant, which was a delightful way to enjoy each other’s company. 🍲🍔🥗🍛🥞We also dove into making jewelry for our upcoming craft sale in June, tapping into our creativity and skills. 📅 The excitement continued with games, including bingo and horse races, 🐎 and we had a blast with the balloon 🎈 toss. Our exploration of zipper sand art added a fun twist to our activities. 🏰

On the 1st and 3rd floors, everyone had a wonderful time participating in various Crafters’ Corner activities. 🎨 We’re also excited that the Rocky Mountain Museum is back on track, and our Library Hour 📚 has resumed, inviting our residents to enjoy literature and learning together. We really are enjoying our new Legion space, and had a great turnout for Remember When?

Stay tuned for more pictures next month showcasing other fun activities not mentioned! It’s been a joyful start to the new year, thanks in no small part to our amazing volunteers who joined in the fun.

Lastly, a special congratulations to Carol McKinnon, the winner of our 50/50 draw. We appreciate everyone who supported our activities.

We went Duck 🦆 Hunting at PVL!

Here at PVL, we love getting our Residents involved in Health & Safety 🦺💙 — and we definitely believe fun should be part of it! 😄

Throughout the month of January, Residents took part in a duck-themed scavenger hunt 🦆🔍, keeping their eyes peeled while having a quacking good time!

2026 has started off wonderfully at Pine Valley!

🥅🏒 Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Hinton Havoc U-18 hockey team. They came to play games, hang out, and chat with our residents, creating some lasting memories.

It was a fantastic day filled with fun and camaraderie 🏒🥅
