Asha Frost, BA (Hon. Psych), DSHM is an Ojibway Woman and registered member of Neyaashiinigmiing (Cape Croker). She has facilitated healing for the past two decades as an Indigenous Medicine Healer + Homeopath, serving thousands of folks in finding their healing power within. As part of the Crane Clan, Asha believes in leading with grace and heart and she loves being invited to speak, teach and create sacred spaces. Her book, You are the Medicine will be published in March 2022 and released by Hay House.

Every time I stepped onto a stage this year I felt like my biggest dreams have come true. 🩵✨

I am so grateful to everyone who invited me to do a keynote, workshop, opening ceremony or land acknowledgement. You helped me step into a vision I carried for a long time.

We are at the edge of the Solstice and the Medicine Wheel is about to turn. Spirit Bear is coming. Makes will fill our space with great mystery love, teachings about rest and our sacred boundaries.

Can we listen to our bodies in deeper ways during this next season?

Last night I fell on the ice and felt the tears I’ve been holding on to begin to fall. Sometimes it takes a lot for me to cry hard. And then I remember how cleansing it is. When is the last time you had a really good cry?

“Tears hold our sacred waters, memories, essence, and medicine. Today you are invited into a healing space by the power of spirit and the ancestors. They hold you, they see you, and they encourage you to express all that you have held on to so tightly. It’s been a challenging time, and there is no shame in acknowledging this. Recall all the tears you have swallowed back or emotions you have pushed down; it’s time for them to release.

Raw emotions and feelings are a call for love. This card is a reminder that you are worthy of taking space and time to allow for all to pass through. Let your tears fall to the earth so your sacred waters can enter the soil. As we deeply feel, we can truly heal. This time of sadness and vulnerability is essential for you to move through so the next cycle can enter.

The sacred tears that are held in your own body and spirit also hold of the tears of your ancestors and relatives. When you shed them, you heal the past, present, and future generations. Your medicine waters bless the world. It’s safe to express your emotions at this time. Release the grief and pain, for as you do, there is more capacity for joy and ease to flow.

Sacred Ceremony:
Gently place your hands over your eyes and feel the generations of love that pulse through you and to you. There are times that you held back the puddles that formed in your eyes, swallowed down your truth, or wiped your tears too quickly. These moments are met with compassion and healing as your hands meet those memories. You can let go now; there is no shame in the most authentic expression of your soul.

I’m currently writing the very last season of my book, where I’m reflecting on what beliefs or ways of being have changed. Pushing through pain is a big one for me. It’s something that I have been “working” on for a very long time.

I used to hate to cancel anything. I used to want to show up for events and be okay with doing it in pain. I thought that pushing through would mean that maybe I wouldn’t then be obsolete or forgotten.

It’s all starting to soften. My care for myself and what I can or cannot move through. A life long journey for sure and I’m grateful that I get to reflect on it more deeply as I write.

The Inner Winter will be coming in about a year from now, but I sense it will touch the world at exactly the right time.

Whenever someone reads my bio over the microphone I always feel myself blush. It feels so formal and impersonal. Like small talk (which I’ve never been good at). 🩵✨

There’s some new folks here so I thought I’d share a bit more about me, more than my bio.

Something people are always shocked at is how tall I am in real life (5’10). My legs are super long and I do look quite short when I’m seated so maybe that’s why? I haven’t quite figured that out.

I’ve been working in the wellness industry for over 20 years in my own business and longer in other jobs. The ideologies have settled so deeply in my bones that I have suffered way too much trying to always do things naturally.

My new book will speak more on this. But as I write about what is changing, a new dream is emerging. One of comfort and my worthiness of claiming it sooner.

After a bad lupus flare, I’ve had to choose the fastest way to comfort or I would surely not survive the pain.

As I write this new book, I unwind from the narrative that I have somehow caused my own suffering and illness.

It’s been a long time coming. 🔥
