Currently we have 11/16 single rooms occupied.

Unfortunately, we have no additional public bed coverage from government or the health authority at this time to fill the remaining five available rooms.

We continue to work with Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and NL Health Services for additional bed coverage but these five beds could save lives today.

Please ask the candidates seeking to be elected to the House of Assembly whether or not they support full bed coverage so that we can admit additional clients that remain on a lengthy waitlist without having to pay privately or via insurance.

With all the support we have received and the recognition of badly needed addiction treatment services why do we have 5 beds and 2 detox rooms empty while hundreds of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians remain on the waitlist?

There are five rooms and two medically assisted detox facilities that are available today to house someone in desperate need of treatment now.

Vida Nova has 27 dedicated staff. All professional physicians, nurses, social workers, addiction counsellors, peer support workers, culinary and maintenance. Each and everyone dedicated to their trade.

To currently have 11 guests. All beautiful people who are sober, safe and loved.

We can help more today.
