Mondays @ 10:45am at East Coast Dance Academy in Tantallon
Thursdays at 10:30am at New Waves Maternity in the Hubbards area, including Stay and Play after class until 12pm.

Please consider joining us for Flora's Walk, an annual event to raise awareness and funding for perinatal and maternal mental health, Saturday May 9 at 11:00am at Pijinusisakaq Park in Bridgewater.

Mental illness is very common during pregnancy and the postpartum period, with 1/4 of Canadian women experiencing postpartum depression and/or anxiety, and only a third of these women being offered (let alone being able to access) any sort of treatment. For women experiencing challenges such as poverty, racism, instability, domestic or sexual violence, these numbers are much higher.

We know that maternal mental health is a primary predictor of children's well-being. When we fail to support maternal mental health, we fail to provide both mothers and children with the nourishment and support they need to feel and be well.

Please join us May 9, Mother's Day Weekend, to show your support for this important cause.
