Holistic nutrition: Eating for your mind, body and soul
Our fast-paced, high-stress world has created a culture that is focused on convenience and speed and that includes how we eat. As a holistic nutrition consultant I believe in slowing it down, keeping it simple and getting back to basics. With the epidemic rise in obesity and degenerative diseases, the link between what goes into your mouth an

d your health is undeniable. Many are turning to holistic nutrition as a way to not only feed their bodies and prevent disease but as a way to eat their way back to health. Holistic nutrition is all about eating healthy foods that are as close to their natural state as possible for maximum health and well being. Key words you will hear from me include unrefined, unprocessed, organic and locally grown whole foods. My approach hinges on the belief that the human body is self-healing and when given the right elements, will always strive for balance and health. My job is to inspire and teach you to love the foods that will love you back.

✔️Yes protein is important
🔥Yes, too much can drive up inflammation
🍰Yes, protein will affect cravings
🧀Yes, it's possible to get enough protein at breakfast from real food

But it's not as simple as just tanking up on tons of protein and calling it a day!

There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to diet and health.

🔥Eating massive quantities of protein or 'stacking' protein could be driving up your inflammation and creating acidity in your body which puts a huge burden on the body.

Like most things, there is no one-size-fits all when it comes to protein.

Metabolic Balance calculates your protein requirements based on:

✔️your blood markers,
✔️your metabolic profile,
✔️health status,
✔️age and
✔️activity level

👉Drop the word 'PROTEIN' in the comments and I'll send you the full blog, including some great breakfast protein ideas.

The plan is just the launch point, a springboard.

Most people assume that if they just had ' the right' plan, more discipline, more willpower... that everything would magically fall into place.

But the magic happens in what I call the 'soft skills'

So if you feel like your plan isn't working anymore or if your ' follow- through' isn't where you want it to be...

It's probably NOT a lack of discipline. You're just missing part of the equation 🩵

A nutrition plan is a tool that is meant to:

✔️push the 'reset' button
✔️give you structure
✔️help you understand your body

But the plan is just the starting point.

It was never meant to carry you forever.

Learning to master what I refer to as the 'soft skills' is where the rubber hits the road and lasting change happens.

If you feel like you keep 'falling off'

It might just be that no one showed you the other half of the equation.
