Have you ever thought of myth as a form of memory carrying ancient wisdom that may still guide us in the modern world?

If you are finding it hard to reconcile some of what is happening in the world right now, I would like to invite you to the upcoming series.

I have found that when I sit with myth and these old stories, they help me reconcile many things in my own mind and find deeper understanding of the world we live in.

It's like many thousands of years of culture & history may have taught our ancestors a few wise things.

And the ancestors and land now remind us of this wisdom and timeless lessons of the past, present and future through myth.

As a result of this, life purpose & direction can becomes clearer & the language of nature & the land is ever more present in offering support & guidance.

Hosted by Chris Outdoors and bringing together 4 amazing story weavers from both Turtle Island & Scottland Iskwew, .mackay.story ,

And two lovely songs weavers, from & Carly Jay from .connections

You are welcome to join us regardless of your cultural or spiritual background.

Come tap into the language & wisdom of the land and the memories it holds through the power of myth & living evolving story!

Where wild places meet wild stories. 🌲🔥

We’re excited to share Chris’s upcoming speaker series, a free online gathering that weaves land, story, and ancestry together as guides in modern times.

In a time when so much pulls us away from relationship with the living world, this series is an invitation back. Back to the forest. Back to myth. Back to deep ancestral memory. Back to the parts of ourselves that remember how to belong.

If you’re craving depth, meaning, and connection beyond the surface, you’re warmly welcome to join us.

A snapshot of my last few weeks in Costa Rica 🇨🇷
We went back to the Osa Peninsula (my favorite place!) And explored Uvita and outside of Dominical along the way. So much gratitude for the ability to travel and build fun memories with family. Pura Vida!

Wild Medicine is an in-person, community-based learning journey to connect with the natural world and learn about how to incorporate medicinal herbs, wild plants and mushrooms into our daily lives.

Laura's approach to learning and teaching about the natural world is kin-centered and based on building relationship with the natural world over viewing them as "resources". Her hope is to create a learning environment that encourages participants to feel welcome sharing from their own personal and cultural backgrounds and feel safe being who they are, regardless of background and identity. Is 2026 finally the year you start your journey to learn foraging and herbal medicine?

Registration opens soon. Comment below for advance registration info.

This past weekends Christkindl Market in the was an absolutely amazing end to a great holiday market season. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported me at markets across Southern Ontario this past month. With snow blanketing the forest and -25C last night winter feels like it's really here and I'm looking forward to moving at a different pace. We'll continue to ship online orders and our local retailers like the .healthstore.muskoka and spots like will be loaded up by the end of the week for your in person shopping needs. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much!

A moment of peace for your feed. Winter has arrived in Muskoka. Though the next few weeks are still filled with the "holiday rush" this peaceful landscape reminds me the time of deep rest and reflection is just about here.
