What is Purposeful Play? PWM offers this group learning and sharing event where your baby's developmental milestones are explored via play.
Canadian health guidelines for babies, focus on gaining motor control, strength, and coordination. Key milestones include lifting the head and pushing up during tummy time (0-3 months), rolling and sitting (4-7 months), crawling and pulling to stand (8-12 months), and walking (12-18 months). Hi! My name is Tammy, and I’m a physiotherapist at Physio Works Muskoka and I’d like to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

I have a special interest in working with children. I support children with a wide range of concerns and I’m certified in pediatric pelvic health. I provide pelvic health physiotherapy for children and adults.

One of my favorite aspects of this work is providing developmental screenings to help families ensure their children are meeting key milestones for healthy development.

I also run Purposeful Play Groups that teach families how to encourage motor development during a child's first 18 months.

I work with clients of all ages and have a strong background in orthopedic physiotherapy. I can treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Above all, I believe in working together so that you or your child can achieve lasting outcomes.
