❗️This is formal notice of MyoMove transitioning to a more independent practice as of October 1 of this year.

➡️Meaning, our doors will be closing and our practitioners transitioning to new spaces of practice as of October 1, 2022.

💔Please trust this decision was not made easily and is made with a very heavy heart.
 💙I understand that this news may come as a shock to many, but I (Megan) have made the decision to shift my business focus in a way that allows for more time with my young family and allows the time and commitment to my other work priorities.

🫱🏼‍🫲🏽I understand the vast impact this may have on your current health care practices and will ensure the smoothest transition of care possible.

Today’s the day that mask mandates have been lifted for health care settings. 😷👋🏻

You are no longer required to wear a mask to any of your appointments.

If you enter wearing a mask, your practitioner will follow suit if they are not already masked.

Let’s talk about prenatal care and treatment options!🤰🏼

All of MyoMove’s RMTs and our Chiropractor .daniellesmith offer prenatal care. What many don’t know is that we have many options for positioning of prenatal clients during treatment!

We have tummy friendly options with our tables that have cutouts for breast and bellies (with bands to support your babe while on your tummy). We also have pillows that allow for tummy lying and provide support during your treatment too!

You read that right! You can lie on your tummy for your treatment and take some much needed pressure off 🙌🏻

All practitioners can also provide prenatal treatments in a side lying position if that is your preference. 🤗

What do a metal bowl, a tray of ice cubes and water have to do with anxiety?

Well, they’re a great way to pull our brains out of an adrenaline response (aka: anxiety and panic) and into the present moment!

The next time you’re having an anxiety or panic attack try this. get a metal bowl, fill it with cold water, and then put ice cubes into the water.

Put your hands into the water and hold the ice cubes. This forces our brains to have to come out of an adrenaline response and pay attention to the cold sensation. It slows the heart rate, calms the nervous system, and brings us back in the present moment awareness.

You can also do this in the winter time with snow, or as a cold plunge bath to help your entire body with regulation.
