We’re Evolving Our Learning Model to Better Support You!

Starting soon, the Adult Literacy and Basic Skill program will be trying out a new, more flexible classroom model. We’re opening our doors to a more personalized approach.

Here’s whats changing:

• Open Learning Hours: Our classroom will now be open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Extended hours on Tuesdays until 8pm.

• Tailored Support: Learners can drop in any time during open hours for help with whatever skill they’re working on – whether it’s reading, writing, math, digital skills or more.

• Inclusive and Responsive: No need to wait for a specific class day – come when it works for you and focus on what you need.

We believe this model offers greater flexibility and better meets the diverse needs of our adult learners. Whether you’re brushing up for work, training, or personal goals, our team is here to support your journey – on your schedule.

BBBS Oxford's Teen Literacy Mentoring Program is the perfect option for them!
Students mentor an elementary student, after school, during 70-minute sessions, once a week through the school calendar year.

BBBS staff will be at CASS, Huron Park SS and Woodstock Public Library this month - students are encouraged to stop by to learn more about the program, and chat with staff and students currently mentoring in the program.

The First Five program provides the assessments and preventative care children need in their early years while families seek a permanent provider in the community. How it works:
� Pick a time that works for your family: appointments available from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, every day of the year.

�Connect by secure video from the comfort of your home: no waiting room, no travel.

�A nurse practitioner will meet with you and your child/youth virtually. They can help with: fevers, sore throat, coughs, ear pain, rashes, small cuts, stomach upset, headaches, sprains, and other non-emergency problems.
