Ayurvedic Health Counsellor Retreat! PART #2 🌿I am super excited to be offering some supportive herbal protocols & recipes to support your wellness journey 🌿 As part of my AHC program our in-person education portion -during the retreat , we learned how to use medicinal herbs(roots, stems, bark, leaves, seeds or whole plants) By using certain parts of a plant you can create fresh juice, poultice, pastes, decoctions,cold infusions and hot infusions. 🌱 we learned classic Abhyanga with one therapist and two. We learned how to make dough dams from scratch to be used for application of a Kati Basti. We worked in the kitchen, learning how to make digestive aids, Takra, 100 wash ghee and decoctions using Triphala & Amruttothara. 🪷 These type of supports are based on a client’s individual needs, that would be uncovered during a client health intake. These types of recommendations can be used for a wide range of conditions, including digestive issues, congestion &.respiratory problems, muscle &
joint pain, skin disorders, digestive resets and balancing the dosas( Vata, Pitta, Kapha).

My 5 day Ayurvedic Health counsellor Retreat!! PART #1
This was an amazing time and I finally was able to meet my colleagues in person :)
This retreat was 7 AM to 7 PM every day . We enjoyed authentic Ayurvedic meals, delivered our presentations, welcomed our live clients for health intakes & gave recommendations. We also practiced our pulse and tongue diagnosis.

💆‍♀️ Tips for Clients Seeking Massage Therapy

1. Know your goals.
Before your appointment, think about what you want to achieve — relaxation, pain relief, improved mobility, or recovery from an injury. This helps your therapist tailor the treatment to your needs.

2. Communicate openly.
Let your therapist know about any medical conditions, injuries, or sensitivities. During your session, speak up if the pressure feels too light or too firm — your comfort matters.

3. Arrive a few minutes early.
Give yourself time to relax before your session. Rushing in can make it harder to unwind and get the most benefit from your treatment.

4. Breathe and relax.
Try to take slow, deep breaths during your massage. The more you relax, the more effective the treatment will be.

5. Stay hydrated.
Drink water after your massage to help flush out metabolic waste released from your muscles.

6. Follow post-treatment advice.
Your therapist may recommend stretches, rest, or self-care tips. Following these suggestions can extend the benefits of your massage.

7. Be consistent.
Regular massage therapy can help maintain flexibility, reduce stress, and support overall wellness. Your therapist can help you find a schedule that fits your goals.
