We are so grateful to BC Rehab for supporting our program with the addition of our new Gate Obstacle 🐴✨
This versatile tool allows our therapeutic riders to practice balance, coordination, problem-solving, and functional life skills like opening and closing a gate from horseback. Experiences like this build confidence, independence, and meaningful connection with the horse.

✨Exciting News✨ A huge thank you to .ca for awarding KTRA with a grant to help us purchase a new saddle that’s fits both Rusty and Gio 🐴 🐴 This support means so much to our riders and our horses - having the right equipment, makes lessons safer, more comfortable, and even more fun! We can’t wait to see the difference it makes in our program.

Looking for a volunteer to clean 5 paddocks in exchange for exercising one of our program horses. This would be every Sunday starting December 7th. Must have recent and extensive riding experience and experience cleaning paddocks and stalls (horses live outside 24/7 but their shelters are like stalls). 🍂 That’s a wrap on our Fall Session! 🍂

This week marks the end of our Fall riding session — and what an amazing season it’s been! Our riders have worked hard, our volunteers have given their all, and our incredible horses have earned a well-deserved break. 🐴💛

We’ll be back in January for our 10-week Winter Session, and we can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
