My goodness, a few things are on my mind today, making this postā¦
First, for the sake of this wonderful RMT-to-be, I need to introduce Brooke. Sheās joining our team as a wellness practitioner, meaning if you need to relax a bit (as much as I do), sheās got the right light touch for it, and at a slightly less cost than the rest of us in the clinic (but unfortunately NOT billable to extended healthcare benefits!). This price is only for now, her rates will be matching ours as soon as she gets registered!
And secondly, but truly just as important: Thank you to my team, and my clients. You have been so kind to me, as I twist and turn my schedule in every direction lately. While I am so sorry to have been changing things around so often, I am also practicing (as best as I can) to be appreciative instead of apologetic.
So thank you. Thank you for being understanding, flexible and supportive. Thank you for sticking around, moving around, and being around, while I try to take care of myself.
Thirdly - just my well wishes to all of you reading this. Itās shaping up to be a hot summer, so please take care of yourselves too. Move (in the A/C), hydrate (water too!) and rest (though the partying is tempting ).
Meet Brooke!
Brooke is joining us as a Wellness Practitioner for the next few months as she works toward her registration in massage therapy. Until she is fully registered, she is working with us twice a week (and the occasional Sunday)!
This is the perfect opportunity to come in for an amazing massage, and save your benefits for later in the year!
Brooke will only be offering massage at the Wellness Practitioner cost until her registration comes through in the fall, so get her while you can!
A little more about Brooke:
Brooke is a graduate from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy as of July 2023. After finishing the two year program she found interest in treating different injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Each patient receives a treatment tailored to the individual using myofasical and trigger point release, general Swedish, incorporating stretches, active movements and occasionally joint mobilizations.
If she isnāt studying for board registrations in September 2023 you can find her gardening, hiking, camping, reading or spending time with family and friends. Until her registration is complete, she is unable to directly bill extended health plans.
