Our Story
Think of a Tree. Does it have all its strength in its limbs? No. A tree is only as strong as its roots and its trunk. Without this, the tree would fall over. It’s the same for our bodies. If we don’t concentrate on building a good foundation and a strong trunk or core (powerhouse), we’ll end up tight in some places and weak in others, injury-prone and susceptible to the pitfalls of our occupation or chosen form of exercise (or lack there of).
The Pilates Tree has something for everyone; offering personal and group classes, each geared to condition your body, mind, and soul. We can work at rehab levels or athletic levels, pre surgery or post surgery. Wherever you are at, we will meet you and teach you how to grow/build from there.
Through Pilates you will reshape your body, improve your posture, release stress and tension all while building strength and increasing flexibility. This is where mental and physical training become one.
