Many people don’t understand the struggle a family with chronic illness goes through. Last week Cadel was taken from school by ambulance with severe chest pain and later that day developed malaise and one of his fevers. This fever came and went for 10 days. For 10 days he stayed mostly in his room he slept 14 plus hrs a day, he ate very little and left the house once. For 10 days mom and dad had broken sleep and broken hearts to leave him to go to work even though he was cared for. Yesterday his fever broke in a bed drenching sweat and he played outside with a friend!! Unfortunately this is nothing new as this is the way his whole life has been!
The worry is real, the struggle real, hug a family who struggles today !
