✨ Yule Log Gathering ✨

Last year’s Yule Log gathering was pure magic, filled with laughter, creativity, and a circle of women crafting their own pieces of holiday tradition.

This year we’ll gather again to sip warm tea, share stories, and learn about the traditions of Yule. You’ll create your own Yule Log to take home, adorned with dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and intention, while enjoying sweet treats and the company of other amazing women.

It’s more than a craft. It’s connection, joy, and a little midwinter magic.

Before the pace begins to quicken and the world starts spinning a little faster, I want to invite you to pause.

December carries its own rhythm, full of light and celebration yes, but also of rushing, planning, giving, and doing. It’s so easy to get swept into the current and forget that our bodies and hearts crave something different. They crave quiet. They crave stillness.

Slowing down is an art.✨
It’s a practice of trust, trusting that even when you pause, the world keeps turning. Trusting that rest is not laziness, but wisdom.

As the days grow darker, we’ll gather in cozy warmth, sip Christmas tea, and infuse our creations with intention and magic. You’ll learn about and decorate your log with natural elements such as evergreens, pinecones, and dried orange slices to take home and adorn your space for the season.

Think of it as a mini retreat, a few sacred hours of creativity, connection, and soul nourishment before the holiday whirlwind begins.

As the year exhales and the world softens toward stillness, we’re invited into the quiet.
A space where the noise fades, the breath deepens, and the soul finally feels heard.
Here, beneath the surface of doing, there is a calm that waits, a gentle remembering of who we are when we stop reaching and simply rest.

Join me for Into the Quiet, our next Restorative Yoga Nidra evening on Thursday, November 6.

The room will be warm and softly glowing, bathed in gentle infrared light and the flicker of candle flames. Together, we’ll move through a slow, nurturing sequence of supported restorative postures, each one designed to help the body release and the mind unwind.

From there, you’ll be guided into a Yoga Nidra journey, a deep meditative rest where awareness floats between waking and dreaming. In this space of sacred stillness, the body heals, the mind clears, and the spirit renews.

This evening is an invitation to pause, to return to yourself, to rest without guilt, and to rediscover the quiet strength that lives within your stillness.

Spell Craft Sundays 🕯️
Some Sunday mornings I find myself sitting quietly, candle lit, whispering little spells into the flame.
There is something so simple about it. Wax, fire, breath, intention.
Magic in its most gentle form.

I have always loved working with candles this way. It is like spelling with light. This is a way of magic that I have been practicing for over a decade.

Next Saturday, October 18, I will be sharing this ritual during my Witchy Day Retreat in Bobcaygeon.
We will each craft our own spell candle, infusing it with purpose and a bit of magic to take home.

The night before every retreat, I create space for myself first.
A ritual bath. A moment to soften, to love on myself, to weave myself back into my own magic so I can pour from a full cup when I welcome my goddesses in.
