So grateful for another lap around the sun, and for the family that I could have only ever dreamed of. This year had lots of highs and lows, a lot of growth and I’m excited to see what this next year brings!

It also seems like a fitting time to take some time off this app for the next few weeks. This job requires me to be available around the clock, and on call for months at a time so while I’m off call i want to unplug. I want to be present with my kids for the holidays, and then we are off for some (very much needed) sunshine for a couple of weeks! If you need me, please email me or contact me through my website.

✨ Updated Availability ✨

I cannot believe that I am now booked for birth support until MAY 2026! 🤯 I have received so many inquiries for the Spring already - wow is it a busy time for babies! I wish I could take more but I am firm in my boundaries to protect my own space, my family and give the attention to each of the families I work with that they deserve.

I will be taking December-January off of birth support so I can be present for the holidays and (hopefully) a family vacation 🌴

I do have a few spots left for postpartum support in the Spring. If you are interested in exploring this additional support for your postpartum journey, please DM me or contact me through my website!

☀️ Hello September! ☀️

Taking a month off of the pressure to stay on top of social media content was exactly what I needed for August. Days were spent building memories with my kiddos and hubby, boating, enjoying this beautiful land we live on and welcoming new babes into this world (and new mamas!).

I can’t believe it’s September, and I am ready for slowing down, supporting my kiddos in Grade 1 and preschool, focusing back on work-life balance and supporting amazing families welcome their little ones this Fall!

On September 9 and I are hosting another Honoring Your Birth Story workshop to help you begin, or continue your exploration of your story into parenthood from a deeper level, build community and be held in space of vulnerability. There are a few spots left, and we would love to have you join us! (Babies/toddlers/kiddos welcome. Just show up however you need). Register on my website to secure your spot!

• Cervical Checks •

Dilation tells us something, but not everything. It is simply telling you what is happening at that moment, nothing more.

Here’s what matters more when it comes to checking your cervix during labor

⭐️Position of the cervix — is it moving forward
⭐️Consistency and Effacement — is it softening? how thin is it?
⭐️Station — how low is baby in your pelvis?
⭐️Position of Baby - can they tell your baby’s position?
⭐️Pattern of contractions — are they changing?
⭐️Your instincts — what you feel matters.

Because you’re not a number. You’re a whole human, having a whole experience.

✨ Knowledge is power. Informed is empowered. ✨ Let’s make your birth about more than centimeters.

And remember: cervical checks are routinely offered, but not necessary. They are just one way to assess progress towards meeting your baby, not the only way.

I can’t believe I am already opening my books for 2026! I have just one spot left for birth support in 2025, and am now looking forward to supporting more incredible families on their path to parenthood in 2026!

Wow!! To say that this caught me by surprise is an understatement. To win Gold amongst so many other incredible, caring and qualified birth workers is such an immense honor. • when should you hire or contact a doula? •

The truth - the earlier the better! We all take a limited amount of families each month so we can provide the deep, connected level of care you deserve. We can book up quickly, especially specific months (hello September babies!).

Hiring a doula is so much more than just someone showing up to your birth to provide “emotional support”. It’s building a relationship, a deep level of trust, connection and safety prenatally so we can show up for you in moments of vulnerability and in the sacred transformation to parenthood.

To the ones that made me a mom, you are the greatest gift. Thank you for all the lessons, the laughter, and the love. I know I am meant to be here to help your mom, and what a gift that is.

To my own mom I love you and am so grateful for you. As we share in today, I know you also grieve your son and own mom in heaven. My heart will never understand that pain, and I am so grateful that you can find joy in some moments, especially your grandkids.

To my mother in law thank you for raising the most incredible partner I could ever ask for.

My love is with every mother who is walking this path whether it’s with joy, grief or longing for their little one 🌸

Today, we hold space for the mothers whose arms ache with absence. To the mothers who carry their love in silence, To those who have known loss in pregnancy, in birth, or after— You are still a mother. You always will be.

On this Bereaved Mother’s Day, may you feel seen, honored, and never alone.
 Your grief is valid. Your love is eternal. You are part of the story, the strength, the sacred circle of motherhood.
